Mobile Mechanic Durban provides on-site vehicle repair and servicing within the greater Durban area, covering approximately a 30-kilometre radius from Durban North, KwaZulu-Natal. This includes suburbs from Ballito in the north to Bluff in the south, and from Hillcrest in the west to the Durban beachfront. Service availability outside this area may be arranged on request and may be subject to an additional callout fee.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes provided via our website, phone, or email are estimates based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary after a physical inspection of the vehicle reveals the actual condition and scope of work required. We will always communicate any changes to the quoted price and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work. No work will be carried out without your prior consent.

Payment is due upon completion of the service or repair unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the following payment methods:

For larger repairs, a deposit may be required to cover the cost of parts before work commences. The balance is payable upon completion. We will confirm deposit requirements when providing your quote.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please give us at least 4 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a callout fee to cover travel time and lost bookings.

Mobile Mechanic Durban exercises reasonable care in all work performed. However, our liability is limited to the cost of the service or repair provided. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of use of the vehicle, loss of income, or costs of alternative transport. Pre-existing conditions or faults not related to our work are excluded from liability.

8. Vehicle Condition

Our services address the specific repairs or maintenance agreed upon. We are not responsible for pre-existing mechanical, electrical, or structural faults unrelated to the work performed. If during the course of our work we discover additional issues, we will inform you and provide a separate quote. No additional work will be carried out without your approval.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. These terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
